It's all about the data, and pulling all data into one place seems to be a nice technical solution. But not knowing which or what data comes into the data lake, or not even knowing what the data means, might just create a disaster waiting to happen. When did we ever decide that dumping whatever in one place, was a good idea, just because nobody's watching us while we do so!? This pun is a reminder to not just collect data, or we might be next spending a lifetime figuring out what just happened or what it all meant.
